The Science Day is celebrated in school every year. Members of the school science union together with teachers of the science section, take the responsibility of organizing class level competitions within the school. Do you know contests, competitions on creations and exhibitions are held every year to improve the knowledge and creativity of the students. The winners receive prizes and certificates at the function of the annual Science Day. The annual publication of “VIDUMUTHU” provides a better opportunity for the talented students of the Science section to make use of their abilities.

Commerce Day

Every year the Commerce Day is celebrate at a grand scale. The commerce section of the school takes the responsibility of planning the Day in co-operation with the Commerce students of the school in the Zone. “SIDDANTHA” which is an annual publication, with a very rich collection of letters and other, is another creation of the section that gives the way to the talents of the students. Competitions for speeches, essays and do you know contests are held for both senior and junior students in accordance with the Commerce Day. The winners are certificated and forwarded for the Zonal Level Competitions.

Arts Day

The Arts section of the school takes the responsibility of planning and celebrating the Arts Day more artistically with much creation. The teachers in charge of the section always stretch their loving hands to improve the talents of the students through the publication of magazine “VIKASITHA” which is a rich collection of pupils’ creations. Colorful programs are launched to add variations to the annual Arts Day. Number of items is staged to add beauty to this day. Many students of the schools of the region take part on this special day to mark unity among them.

English Day

The English teaching unit of the school grandly celebrates the school English Day under the patronage of the principal of the school. The specialty of the annual English Day is that almost all the students of the school taking part in the competitions and different items conducted at class levels.

Many competitions like speeches, oratory, dictation, essay writing, recitation, scrabble, creative writing and copy writing are held to improve the English knowledge of the students and to identify their talents as well. The winners receive certificates at school level and the selection for the divisional level competition too is done at the same time. Colorful items are staged for the entertainment and to give opportunity to maximum number of students to make use of their hidden talents. The whole schools make it a chance to celebrate the event cheerfully.

Children’s Day & Teachers’ Day

The celebration of the Children’s Day & Teachers’ Day takes place every year in school premises. The school prefect union, under the supervision of the Rev. Sr. principal, takes the responsibility of organizing the days with the co-operation of the teachers in charge of the prefects’ union.
